Hit Me - How To Play (And Win) At Blackjack

Blackjack, also known as Twenty-One, is the most popular casino card game. No doubt, much of this popularity is due to how easy it is to play. Even children can easily grasp the rules in just a few minutes. Another reason for it's popularity is that it's one of the few games that players have a real advantage in over the house.

In fact, high-rolling blackjack player Don Johnson famously took three Atlantic City Casinos for more than $15 million dollars during December of 2010 through April of 2011. And he did it legally, without cheating, or using any unfair advantage. He's simply a master at blackjack!

While not all of us can be a "Don Johnson" at blackjack, we can all easily enjoy this entertaining casino card game. The rules of blackjack are fairly simple. Each player is dealt two cards, face up. The object is to have the highest card total at the table, without going over twenty-one (a bust). Numbered cards are worth their value, face cards are worth ten, and ace cards are worth either 1 or 11, depending on what best suites the player.

After all players have two cards, they must take turns deciding their next move. Players can either "hit" (request another card from the dealer), or "stand" (decline additional cards). After all players are satisfied with the cards they have, the player with the highest total (not exceeding 21), wins the hand.
